Mark's Story
Life
Hello from France.
After graduating from Northeastern University with a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering in 1966 and 1969, I worked for several years at Raytheon Missile Systems Division in Bedford.
In 1974, I changed industries and joined Digital Equipment. While at DEC, I was in a number of positions in marketing, product management, sales management, and business management in both the domestic and international operations of Digital. This gave me the opportunity to travel widely in North America, Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific.
I studied business at Babson (partial MBA) and in 1990 Digital sent me on an executive program at INSEAD in France.
In 1992, I left Digital and moved myself to France to begin new activities.
Here in France, I built a professional activity in teaching (graduate & undergraduate business), consulting, and management training. In 2009, I retired the faulty of ...Expand for more
the Leonard deVinci School of Management in Paris where I was responsible for the 4th year major in B2B marketing. I continued to teach in several other schools in France and internationally in the areas of B2B, Strategy, and International Business â notably in the Masters programs of Skema Business School in Paris and Lille.
My management training activities focused on the management of people and teams.
Now retired, I continue to work on other interests. I am very active in our local Lions Club.
I am a permanent resident in France (we live just outside of Paris), am remarried, and hold both French and US citizenship - dual-nationality. My two adult children live in the US, are married, and I am a grandfather. My step-son is a clinical psychologist and now lives in Nice where he is building his practice. My wife and I travel to the US to visit family and friends at least once per year.
Voila.
