Steven's Story
Life
Moved senior year to Odessa to attend Permian High school, after high school married my sweet (Angie Williamson) in 1990. We have 2 kids, Sam 7 years old and Molly 19 months. Goin on 15 years of marriage, wow she must really love me ;-)
Professionaly I am an Information Technologies Manager and live in the land of Linux - and despise all things Windows.
School
I attended Webster Elementry until the 3rd grade, folks moved to Stanton and I went to Stanton Elementry, Stanton Junior High (same building) and Stanton High School. Senior year moved to Odessa and attended and graduated at Permian High school.
My favorite memory of Stanton is that blue 1960 Apache 110 that I drove, I painted "Steven's Junk" on the tailgate. It had no back window, 3 speed on the stick and would routinely stick in reverse. Once I had to drive from the Golf Course (RIP Mr. Stiles) to my house completely in reverse.

- Mr. Baker (anal retentive math teacher)
- Ms. Wash (ah yea - I will leave that alone, science teacher)
- Coach Ruth (truly was a funny guy, Social Studies and Football)
- Mr. Stiles (Spanish, English, Annual Staff and Golf) (Big Influence for me)
I cant for the life of me remember the mean nasty butch lesbian woman's basketball couch that taught math, the football Coach that was rumored to have roving hand's that taught math also, and that other football coach who loved the booze think he did History? Anywho maybe someone will remember and let me know.
Workplace
Have worked for several large technology related companies, current position is Information Technologies Manager in a custom software shop.
I am a developer, hardware architect and system integrator focused on using Linux to lower TCO, improve performace and security and eliminate MS Windows.
