Graduated from the Naval Academy in May 2008 and got my Masters degree from Johns Hopkins in December 2008 (studied Physics at both schools.) I am continuing my love of mountain climbing that started in college and have goals to climb the highest mountain in every state in the US, all of the California and Colorado 14ers, and the 7 summits. I climbed my first of the 7 summits after deployment in October 2009, Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.
