Theresa's Story
I met my husband of 22 years on a blind date set up by my then roommate and her boyfriend. We instantly hit it off and actually waited 15 months to get married, though we began talking about it 2 weeks after our first date. Our daughter is 21 years old and is a pre-med student at UW-Madison with nearly a 4.0 grade average and will graduate a semester early this December. Obviously she knows how to study better than I did! We are starting to plan her wedding to her boyfriend of 6 years that will take place in July 2010. old and currently a junior in high school, an avid hockey player and a high honors student. Most of our free time is spent attending sporting and music events for our kids but when I have time I am reading books and watching TV. I have worked at the same company for 22 years. I lost both my parents in September 2008 within 3 weeks of each other. My dad to his chronic lung and heart disease and my mom quickly to pancreatic cancer. It has been a very difficult 11 months for my family but we are coping.
I see some former classmates on the off chance meeting but do not really keep in contact with anyone.
