Life I'm engaged!!! Beth was literally the girl-next-door. She was a couple of grades below me in high school, but I always knew of her and tried keeping in touch. We met up at a pool party for Brooke McGregor (spell check) and talked the night away. After seeing her a few more times after that, I talked to her best friend, Beka Wilson (now Beka Houston) and she told me, "she doesn't like you and she never will", so I pursued her anyway, she ended up liking me back, we dated for like 4 years, and recently I popped the question in the most romantic way I could come up with. She said "yes" of course, and we are planning and getting more and more excited (and restless) every day. It's a year and a half away because we're waiting for her graduation from Texas A&M, but it'll be the week after she graduates. Other than that, I am working full time...that's right, I finally found a career job. I'm in a sales position at a pretty sizeable corporation and doing pretty well...mostly because I love what I'm doing. I'm still playing guitar and drums every chance I get, but I'm not doing the 'rock band...Expand for more
