When I moved to Springfield from Boonville in 1971 I began working for an alarm company and stayed in the business for like 13 or 15 years. Quit that and went out on my own for about a year then became a delivery driver for a pharmacutical
company which then found me in repair as a biomedical tech.
After working for a company in the last few years of that the service director, I went to work for an independant who was my boss until he quit and I took over as...Expand for more
service director. He and I ran the business until I had to quit in May of 1995.
During my off hours I was busy directing our Handbell Choirs at my church for about 5 years. That was very exciting and honorable as well. Now I work one day a week, Sunday, opening up the Church on Sunday morning, in charge of the audio/video section, recording our service on both CD and video tape than edit the tape into programming for broadcast on the local cable channel twice weekly.
