Scotty's Story

Life Yo, y'all! Divorced in 1978 and not remarried since. Retired from the Federal Government in Ft. Worth in 2004 after 32 years. Love antiquing and into classic cars of which I own two, a 1966 Impala SS396 convertible and a 1970 Corvette LS-5 (454) convertible. Love class reunions and homecomings and my old classmates. Most people didn't know that I was born in Stamford. They all thought I was a transplant. Being in the oilfield business (Humble, Exxon) my parents got transferred a lot. College I went to North Texas State University for about a year and when the decimal point was on the wrong side of the 4 I was invited to leave so I finished 100 credit hours at Tarrant County Junior Colleges before entering into the work force. Workplace Retired in 12/2004 from the Federal Government after 32 years service. When I ended up in Ft. Worth after a stint in college I worked for General Dynamics (now Lockhheed). After four years there and a layoff I bartended and worked several construction jobs before being hired by the Federal Government in Dallas. In 1994 I transferred to Ft. Worth. Military None. I got exempt in 1968 in Abilene.
