Amy Jo's Story
Life
Hey I am now and have been for the last 7 years Amy Jo Stover. My husband is Kirk he is a firefighter/driver/engineer (he drives the big engines) here in Salina. He also has his own construction buisness on his days off, he works 24 hour shifts at the dept.
I am a nurse at Salina Surgical Hospital. It is a small eight bed ambulatory hospital started and owned by our surgeons. Very homey environment. I love it. I work the night shift 7a to 7p three nights per week. We are expanding our facility and when that is complete (sometime next Sept.) I will move to day shift. My youngest will be in preschool by then.
We have three very active and imaginative boys. Kyler is 9 in thrid grade and is all about the sports and socializing side of school. Kale is 7 and in 1st grade. He is polar opposite never gets in trouble very quiet and st...Expand for more
udious. Kade is 3 and not out of the terrible two's yet. He gets a kick out of testing my sanity.
Yes, even our dog, Gus is male.
As of now, January 2005, we are living with our in-laws. (Not what you think) We sold our house last year, and are building our own house. It is very slow going but totally worth it in every way. I'm just glad mom and dad have a huge house. It is almost a new experience for them, Kirk was their baby and only boy. Now they have three very rowdy boys on their turf. Dad loves every minute of it, but I can tell mom stresses at times even though she won't admit it.
I occationally make it back to Caldwell. Mom and dad are still putting the sises thru school. I try to make it to some of their activities. Abby made it to state in cross country this year, that was neat to observe rather than participate.
