Elizabeth's Story
Life
I've been living with my family in the west end of the San Fernando Valley for 14 yrs. Although I didn't dream about living in the San Fernando Valley as a little girl in Thousand Oaks, its really not so bad, in fact we are quite happy here. We own a summer home in Vermont, so being in the San Fernando Vally most of the year, ain't so bad!
My life is a wonderful mix of chaos and nirvana. We have 6 kids, 2 in college, 2 in middle school and 2 in preschool. I don't know how it happened, but every single one is a complete blessing and surprise everyday.
I quit working at our advertising representation firm awhile back to spend my time writing my book. My husband built a little cabin in our backyard to make me feel that I've been back in Vermont. It makes the writing a bit easier when I can escape from my kids. The one thing I really need to do is unplug the phone in the cabin.

k we made the decision to get out of production and move into the ad rep business. We stayed true to our roots and remained in the motion picture, television and music industry. Our rep. firm still handles accounts like the GRAMMYs, Sundance and the Critics Choice Awards. I try to stay away from the business, but somehow I get sucked back in every awards season.
I spend a lot of time in our backyard teaching our youngest children about gardening, bugs and popping up the occasional tent complete with juice boxes and a portable battery runned t.v.
I stopped by our old house on Sidlee Street recently. Its still white and the Magnolia tree in the front yard is bigger than ever. My dad sold the house about 5 years ago, and I will always miss it. My mom passed away in 1994, I can't believe its been that long. Dad remarried an amazing woman in 2002 and my children have the opportunity to grow up with a wonderful grandmother.
Life can be wonderful, when you take the time to smell the roses.
