Heather's Story
Life
After high school, I attended Ball State, getting a B.S. in Actuarial Science. I then went straight to graduate school to get my M.B.A. at Penn State, where I met my husband Jason. We both worked for GE for some time, and they moved us around a lot - from New Jersey to Connecticut to The Netherlands. Then Jason got an opportunity to work for Amazon.com, and we moved to Seattle. I "retired" to be a full-time mom (I was five months pregnant when we moved), and now spend my time taking care of my two b...Expand for more
oys, Callum and Lleyton. They keep me busy. We love the Seattle area, but I miss seeing my family. (My sister Stephanie is married and is the mother of four young children, my dad is retired and working on his various projects, and my mom died from lung cancer in 1999.) Still, we have many friends out here, and Jason's parents moved out soon after we did so they could spend more time with the grandkids. We're doing well.
