Ronald's Story
To catch you all up in a general type of way, here's my story from when I left Alfred-Almond. I spent my first 3 years of high school at AA and relocated to Waukesha, Wisconsin after my junior year due to my father being transfered to a project there. I attended my senior year at Waukesha High where I graduated in June '1969 with some +600 classmates. I wasn't really planning to go to college but due to Vietnam going hot and heavy I enrolled and graduated from MIT (not the one in MA) but Milwaukee Institute of Technology (School of Engineering)with a 2 year AS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
In June 1971 I started my working career and at the same year I was married to a women I went to high school with. During the next several years my career started to grow, I had two boy's and at the end of that run my wife divorced me and ran off with her boss.
Two years after the divorce I re-married to a great lady, had a girl and another boy and 26 years later am still going strong and the relationship has really flurished.
I have lived in several locations over the years including: Virginia, Maryland, California (San Francisco, San Diego and Irvine, CA), Colorado which I call home and still have a home there in the Vail Valley, Kansas and now Nevada.
After getting my inital degree I went on many years later to get a BS degree in ...Expand for more
Construction Management, another BS Degree in Business Administration and an MBA which I just completed on-line.
I have worked for several national companies with a focus on Construction Management and have worked for Marriott International for 18 years, General Growth, Koll Construction & Development, Forest City Enterprises and others to name a few. I am presently working at Marnell Corrao as a Project Executive in Las Vegas and reporting directly to the CEO.
I have a total of four children with three of them already on their own. My youngest son (fourth child)will be a senior at Kansas State University in the Spring. I have three grandchildren, two boys and one girl.
I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities and sports. My wife will tell you I even like to shop!
As a sideline I have trained in the martial arts for many years and have a black belt in several different art forms. Since receiving that training I have not been in one fight that I started and only had to use the training on two occasions to defend myself.
I am really into deep sea fishing and fish Alaska's yearly and hunt almost everything as much as I can.
I am into golf but my game still needs alot of work. Hopefully living here with all of the golf opportunities I will improve.
Life is good and I have certainly been blessed all of these years.
