Life
In 1981 I married a man i met in Lafayette LA., where i was working as a carpenter. In 1982 my first son, William arrived. In 1985 i had my second son, Lucas. That is when we moved to CA but it was not a good scene as my husband was having a drug addiction problem. In 1987 my mother came out and rescued me and brought me back to FL, where we lived with her for a while. Eventually i met my second husband, RAndy, and moved to Lake Helen with him to live in an old 105 yr old house. Six years later we divorced; I bought a house in Lake Helen and stayed, he moved to Orlando. I love my town as it is very small (2450) and has no stop lights and everyone rides horses all over. A great place to raise kids. Some of you may remember my brother, John; he was living in Bonita Springs FL but was murdered 7 yrs ago. Still unsolved. Quite a story on that one. I stay involved as much as i can in a teen program i helped start with the police department. I love to fish - in the surf and in my canoe on the lagoon and often fill the freez...Expand for more
er with tasty fish.
College
for a while, off and on, i attended LSU in Baton Rouge. Then i moved to CA for a couple of years and attended a community college there. Next came the move to FL, where i attended UCF in Daytona Beach and got a bachlors in Criminal Justice. I continued on and got real close to completing my masters in mental health counseling.
Workplace
I have had a wild variety of jobs since i left Ti Hi. Currently, i hold a class A CDL license and have been driving semis coast to coast. It is a hard job and not what you would think of it being. I am looking for a more local job with more home time. My town was hit by three hurricanes this past season, and after the first one I went to work with a crew cleaning up trees and othe debris. I learned to operate a back hoe and a dump truck. Before the hurricanes, I owned a small flower and gift shop, where i sould handmade soaps and candle i make myself. Twice I have worked for the state as a Welfare/Food stamp worker, but hated the job and the facility.
