Anne's Story
Life
Hi, my name is Anne Barrett. I have 3 beautiful children- Jessica(13), Matthew(8), and Sean(2). I have a wonderful husband named Scott-we have been married for 17 years and we have a home in New Port Richey, Florida.
I moved to Florida the summer after graduating from Kinnelon High. I am sure many of you remember Marnie Perez. Well, she lived down here and she and I got our first apartment together in Oldsmar, Florida. About 3 months later, I met my future husband and she met hers. We made lots of friends during that time and enjoyed much partying. I cannot believe how much time has passed. My biggest regret is that I never finished college (only completed about 2 years). After I had my daughter in 1995, I went to Segal Institute in Clearwater, Florida for Medical Transcription of which I was employed for the past 10 years. Now, I am currently employed as a preschool teacher with Early Achievers Academy and am taking courses for childcare training. It is also beneficial at this time so that I may be able to spend more time with my youngest son, Sean.

r son, Matthew (I am sure Sean will follow in their footsteps once he is a little older.) Matthew rode his first dirtbike at age 4. My daughter, Jessica, rides also and is an honor role student at Gulf Middle in the 8th grade. She is 13 going on 25! Friends are much more important at this time for her. I love that my children are very outgoing and adventurous -- not quiet and reserved as I have always found myself to be. Is that a bad thing? I do not know.
The only thing that I ever really knew for certain was that I wanted to be a wife and mother, of which I have certainly accomplished, but I have always felt that there is something more I should be doing. I really wish now that I would have thought more about what career I would want to get into back in high school. After high school, I worked a lot of secretarial jobs but I only chose that because my mother did that for a living years ago. I guess I am still searching for my purpose (besides wife and mother) which will make me feel whole and complete.
It was so nice to see everyone again at the reunion and to see how everyone has changed and thanks to J.P. for putting it together. Would love to hear from any of you.
