Amy's Story
Everyone at my high school reunion would be surprised to find out that I am a grandma! I have 1 grandson + 5 other grandchildren.
It all started with having 2 kids of my very own.(for you single parents w/deadbeat X's you understand what "MY VERY OWN" means) A daughter whom I am very proud of she has had a lot to deal with in life and has overcome some major odds. Grown and on her own. A son who started out as a "MAMA's Boy" but grew into a good man. Grown and on his own with son in tote.
Then I meet husband #2!? WOW!!
Long story short 13 years later we are still going good and strong. Made it thru some rough patches but still in love.

kids together but he did ADOPT my 2 kids when they were young. Some of his kids have children and that is where i get all the extra's from.
We live in a small town in SE Kansas. It's funny we say it has more dogs and goats than people. I like little towns you know who comes and goes. Our kids live just a few minutes from us and some of the grandchildren live close as well so we get to see them.
My mother is terminally ill and I quit my job to help my father with her. I am in a position that i am able to do so without putting a strain on my family and am greatful to god for letting me be there for my parents as they have always been there for me.
