Susan's Story
School
I remember the retreat we had freshman year. I still have pictures of Mass that Sunday by the river. It was a life changing experience. I remember everyone in the cafeteria, bringing things from home to help me out since I had had to get an apartment at the end of senior year and had nothing. building downtown so they could be sold as fundraiser-I did this my freshman year. My senior year I worked Saturday morning at the convent as a receptionist.
I remember freshman chorus and how we made a record (I still have it!) with the older girls who sang songs from "Brigadoon". We sang songs from Hans Christian Anderson and we had a concert at Incarnate Word. I wish we had had chorus after freshman year but, sadly, we didn't.
I loved Ursuline and wanted everyone to know we had a good class.
