Angela's Story

How do I hope old friends remember me. I hope they would remember me always being happy, a little crazy, goofy and there for them when ever they needed me. How do I blow off steam? Describe my favorite way to relax. Well back during my school days I would just hold all my steam inside and not do anything about it. As I was becoming an adult I would just blow my top any were and every were. Now I have learned that blowing my top does not make things better but most the time it makes it worse. So now when I need to blow off some steam I try to do it when I am by my self whether that be going for a walk, running or for a drive. My favorite way to relax would be when I'm home alone or after everyone has went to bed. And I sit maybe in the dark and think of nothing for as long as I can or reading a book. The wildest thing I ever did in school!! I am not sure there is one. I had pretty strict parents. Do I have a hero? I have a few hero's. My Mom would be one, for as long as I can remember she always has a positive attitude what ever the situation. She has taught my sisters and I to always try and see the good in people, and try walking in someone else's shoes before you go and judge that person. She taught me long ago that the word HATE had just as much meaning as I LOVE YOU and to use both words wisely. She also taught me about God and how much love he has for us. Another hero I have would be my Grandma's for raising so many great children and keeping our families tight. Teaching us what the true m...Expand for more
eaning of family really is. I have so many more hero's but I am only going to tell you about one more. Her name is Robbin she and I are cousins. Robbin is my hero because in the last couple months God has dealt her a pretty rough hand. She is 32 years old a Mother of 2 sweet little boy's. She has been diagnosed with Melanoma and it has Metastasized though out her hole body. They have her on Radiation and Chemotherapy 5 days a week. Through facing all of this She is being the strongest person I have ever met in my life, If I was in her shoes I could only hope to have as much Love, Strength, Compassion, Faith, understanding & bravery as she does. Things I have learned from my children! What haven't I learned from my children would probably be the right question. Lol They have taught me to appreciate the little things in life, to slow down and take it all in to live in the moment. They have showed me that I do sound just like my Mom did when I was a little girl. :) God has blessed me with 2 of the most wonderful & loving little girls. To be truly happy I would be where, doing what with whom? Well I would be right were I am today, with my family doing what I have been doing. Because if I was not truly happy doing that then I am letting my self down along with everyone around me. My best friend would tell you I'm loving & can be really goofy. But people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as being a B****. I have been told that a lot from people until they have gotten to know me.
