Jennifer's Story

Life I'm married to a wonderful man I met while I lived in in Kansas City. His name is Heath, and I am continually thankful that we're together. We just celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. We have 3 children: Jenna Elizabeth is 5 years old, Jed Quin is 3 1/2 years old, and Jane Camille is 11 months old. Of course, I have the easy part of parenting...my sweetheart stays home with the kids while I go to work! (Did I mention I have a wonderful husband?) I hope to hear from any of my classmates...it's been too long since our 10 year reunion! Hopefully I'll be able to stay in touch with people better once I get back to Mississippi. Workplace I started out after college working for the MS Board of Realtors...after wasting almost 2 years there, I decided to actually use my degree and go back to Pharmacy School. sas City, and spent 5 years earning my Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy. After graduation in 2000, I completed a 1 year Community Pharmacy Practice Residency with Walgreens, then accepted a position with Target in May of 2001. I was with Target for 5 years Being a retail pharmacist allows me to develop relationships with patients and provide medical care in a unique setting. After moving back to Mississippi, I worked for Rite Aid here in Meridian for 2 years...it was my most disappointing pharmacy practice, but it enabled me to move home, and my contract ended just in time for... I've finally got my dream job...I work for Fred's Pharmacy in Meridian -- it's a franchise pharmacy,so I have the support of a chain, with the flexibility and freedom of an independent pharmacy. I love it!
