Steve's Story
Life
got pets? too many, kids? two, ages 22 and 7,grandchild age 1
life in general ok ,on my second marriage, first one lasted 10 years, this one 12 so far(its on thin ice)but its all good.I have a great job,new car.
still doing artwork (for those who remember art classes were always my favorite thing)mostly metal work now.But it keeps me busy and i manage to sell a work here and there, mostly my friends see what i'am working on and i let them make off with it.
School
biggest crush? too many to list,so i won't.School were else could a guy find that many girls the same age!
Which teacher inspired the most? there were teachers there?
well ok ,there were,Mr.Harmond world history i think,Mr.O'neil drafting/mech. drawing,Mr.Bastone arch.cluster, the art teacher that also did the rodeo club can't remember his name right now,and a true crazy man mr.harlow that i hard for biology,i'll to get out the year book and see.And Mr.Henderson for my I.C.T. class,he would mark you present everyday and told us he only wanted us to show up on fridays
to do paperwork for the week other than that don't bother him.
and when that class was the first one for the day,you got to sleep in 4 o...Expand for more
ut of 5 days, then out of school at 11:30 or so
made for a short senior year, made up a class my senior year on (an english class )that was Mrs.Griswald she was alright.
then there was the not so good teacher Mrs.Fuller(the reason having to make up a class)"don't talk in here while my stories are on" her and her little tv in bottom drawer of her desk.
but all-in-all Skyline was a fun place to be.Eastfield seemed
kinda dull after going there....
Workplace
well went to Eastfield right after HS and worked nights building oil field equipment, then night school and worked days at Garland Mem.Hospital.After that worked a normal job doing MEP drawing for a consluting engineering firm, after a few years of drawing office buildings i thought would like to run one,so went to work for Trammell Crow Company for 5 years, then realestate took a nose dive, went to work for Trinity Corp. building railroad cars here in Dallas, did that for 6 years, then got back into realestate with a new company to the Dallas area and now take care of over 2 million sq. ft. of downtown dallas office space that we own.Its been fun(all of them) and if you can't have fun at what you do,find a different job.
