I retired from the Las Cruces Fire Department in December 2008. My last dozen years there I was working out of the 7th busiest fire station in the U.S. After retirement from the fire department, I worked for NMSU's Special Events after retirement just for a couple of years as a supervisor, setting up all special events(concerts, athletic events and programs) I'm still into fast cars and cool motorcycles.
