Brenda's Story
Life
I am married(almost 37 Years)I have two children, girl and boy, three grand-daughters, I also have 2 step children girl and boy and 5 step grand children three girls 2 boys, I really do not like the word step, so I have 4 children and 9 grandchildren also we had our first great grand daughter Nov. 29, 2006 which I adore all of them. We just received and announcement this weekend that we will have another great grand child in March which will make us an even number 10. I live in Prestonsburg, Ky., on the Mountain Parkway, or some may know it better as Route 114. I am retired from Nordin Eye Center, as an office manager and optician tech, I have been retired for 4 years now due to some serious medical conditions I am a cancer survivor for 5 years in December
My life has been interesting for me I have been very active, I was a league soft ball player for many years played in the state tournaments, also am a league bowler have also bowled in state tournaments I am still active in my bowling just not as often and on as many leagues. I still lead an active life I traveled and supported our children during their years of playing sports or whatever they needed us to attend. Still enjoy playing cards with friends at get togethers or just visiting. I refuse to stop and give way to any illness I enjoy life to much so I will fight to continue as long as I can.

restored vet, gives us that young feeling again, since time is telling the tale of age. We also have a get-a-way farm that we stay at too. I have had a very happy life, with my marriage, children, grandchildren and a wonderful career, I have been very blessed and I hope that my classmates have found the same in their lives, as I have in mine, my life is complete.
I was unable to attend the 40 year reunion, I really missed not being there I would have loved to visited with classmates and caught up on all the news from them, I do understand it was a great reunion. Jessica sent me an e-mail asking why I was not there and ask me to view the photo album of everyone which I did I enjoyed it very much although without some help I could not place faces with names we sure have all changed thanks to Dean for making it possible for the ones unable to attend to still be a part of it through the photos very nice. Maybe another reunion will be planned soon and I will be able to attend would really enjoy it. Some of you visit the profiles some leave your names some leave messages all of you guys are welcome to leave a message or let me know who you are, that would be the only way I would know you. I have received a lot of messages from you guys, I really love hearing from you, just because we age does not have to change who we were or who we still are I do not think I have changed only in my looks with age, deep inside I am the same person and I still enjoy my friends very much.
