Life
Well where were you in 62, Gracie Slick says if you remember the 60's then you couldn't have been there. I think we were given the best time in history to be kids. Think about it, the music was amazing, Mums could still stay home with the kids and we could walk home through east Calgary without looking over our shoulder. If you wanted to get high you put an aspirin in Coke, where the hell did that one come from ? We schooled with the "special class" and kids were bused in from the Sarcee reserve, we weren't give a choice nor did we give it any great thought. There was us and them...Expand for more
but the line never seemed to be as rigid as it is now. We had Chinese, Blacks, Whites, and somethingski(y) from every Slavice nation. The only things I remember being different were the smells from our Mom's kitchen. Shags at school, dances at the community hall and Floyd Sneed's corduroy suit. Oh my, I wanted to be Giget or Tammy so bad and Bill Knapton to be my Moondogie. Does your life seem like a movie, did you say keen and groovy, did you wear pants around your pelvis did you know the "king" was Elvis, do you still think you're lean and sexy well grow up you just turned sixty.
