Jeffrey's Story
Life
Just moved to Oshkosh with my girlfriend Mandy. Also just switched to local driving from over the road. Life's kinda hectic right now, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. My brother Jim is about to be a father for the 3rd time, so that's something.
School
I think mostly looking back at my high school days there's a lot of woulda, shoulda, couldas... unfortunately. There were some fun times though. Mostly from choir and theatre. With a little wrestling and football in there. Unfortunately I wasn't all that social, and I worked a lot too. Maybe I at some point I can reconnect with some of the people I used to know back then.
College
Not much goin on here right now. In 2004 completed my Assoc. in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology from ITT in GB. Haven't been able to use that degree much.
Am thinking of returning to school at some point, but time will tell. Not sure if I'd continue the same course of study or change to a new one. If I switched I'd like to either go for a Mathematics Teacher or Computer Programming. I'd really like to go for performing arts or mus...Expand for more
ic, but I need to survive and I don't see those as feasible options.
Workplace
Well, currently I'm a truck driver. Not exactly my dream job. If anyone remembers me from high school, I'm sure they would think of me more in the music and theatre type stuff. Yeah, I'd love to do that, but I don't see a way to do it and survive, so for now I'll stay a truck driver.
Currently I work for Valley Express and drive local dedicated for Oshkosh Truck. I just switched to this position this week so we'll see how it goes. It's 2nd shift, but at least I get to come home everyday now. Pay cut from being over the road to local is gonna suck though!
If I trace everything back since I got outta MHS it'd be awhile since I jumped around alot, especially when I was in tech school. Let's just say I have an Assoc. in Computer and Electronics Engineering Technology that is collecting dust and I've basically forgotten most of the training due to non-use. I guess that's life.
Military
Thought about it. Tried to enlist in the Navy twice. Both times was overweight(no surprise). So, no military for me.
