who would have thought that at this time in my life i would marry my high school sweetheart. after 9 years of being a widow, i have fallen in love all over again. yes, i am now Mrs. Richard Knight. we got married on new year's eve 12-31-07 on Lake Lure in North Carolina. Dick moved me here from Athens, Ohio where i had lived for 33 years on my 30 acre farm. what a beautiful place to raise my daughter and son. also, i must add that Athens was a great town, home of Ohio University and all it had to offer............ Dick and I now live together in a log cabin that dick built here in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina on Lake Lure. this is just a short note for now but i will write more and add more pictures of us at a later date. stay tuned..................................... Well, Dick & I have been married now for 3 happy years and loving every minute of it. Dick is the corp safety director for a construction co in Asheville, N.C. I miss all my babies from my daycare I had for 20 years in Athens and keep looking for a similar opportunity here but have had some real set-backs with a back surgery and my own 2 kids needs with surgeries and accidents, so I retired this year. Dick has two and a half more years before he retires. after that, the sky is the limit. we plan to travel alot, enjoy our grandkids and kids and live life to the fullest here in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina. ........scroll down to read more of the story.
