Life I remarried 9/25/04 to Class of 1973 grad Shirley Rhoads Leister. Between us we have four children: Stephanie, age 28, who is my stepdaughter but I love her as my own. Then there are my children, Christopher, age 27, Katherine, age 25, and David, age 20. We have two grandsons, Dominic, age 5, and Caleb, age 2. All in all, my high school experience was pretty good, though I don't believe I would want to relive it, even knowing then what I know now. I was primarily known for my musical talent then. I was active in band and went on some great trips to Niagara Falls, the Indy 500, and Romania, all still being fond memories, along with the senior prom. Favorite teachers during that time was Mrs. Onopchenko (French and Russian). She spoke just about every language there is, and the band director at that time, Nat Roof, who, unfortunately was killed in a car accident along with his wife over 20 years ago.
