Julie's Story
Life
I graduated from Central High School in 1964. Worked at Memorial and St. Josephs Hospitals as a nurse's aide. Came to Connecticut in 1970, met my husband and we were married in South Bend in 1971 and STILL married. It is hard to believe that we have been married 30 years...and he is still my first husband. to complete my bachelor's degree in Social Work and graduated on the Dean's List from the College of New Rochelle in 1990. A year and a half later I had a stroke and have not been able to work since that time. Today I am a homemaker and keep very busy with the usual things of running a house. I also manage to sew and do crafts. I still think of the good times that I experienced at Central and will always remember the very special people who made my time there a very rewarding experience.
