Life Well..I'll start off with saying that I am a small business owner in Chico, California. I have the largest Online Kite Store out there and it is a dirty job but someone has to do it! ;o) I fly and sell kites for a living and get paid to do it. Hate when that happens..lol I have 2 kids 26year old daughter and a 16 year old son and a 7 year old grandson. My daughter drives a truck for a living. My son is a Junior this year and started a band 3 years ago with 2 friends and none of them knew how to play an instrument. They had a name for the band and started a web page and no one sings but they are all self taught multi versatile instrument playing Heavy Metal Musicians now! They have won Talent shows and first place at Battle of the Bands out of 11 bands at their HS.They just played at a place that Hoobastank and Lamb of God and Crossfade and bands like that got started. Its called the Boardwalk. It was Awesome. They had 2 songs on a site called Musolist that plays new artists music and people can rate them. Their songs were 1st and 2nd in top 20 of Sacramento, CA and came all the way up to 9th and 11th on the Global top 20 on this site. I am very proud of them. Basically a very quiet life with a lot of kite flying and Listening to my sons band. I Love Heavy Metal and it makes a good relationship with my son. They don't have a singer but they are very good without one. They write their own stuff and don't play others music. In Feb. 2006 our kite store gets together with the Kite Store in Huntington Beach and we have a Annual Kite Party. People come from all over the world just to fly kites together. No competitions just a huge party! It is the first or 2nd weekend in Feb. Dave at the Kite Connection on the Pier is the gracious and fun host. Maybe we could have a reunion of some sorts there. I saw my cousin for the 1st time in 15 years this last Feb at the party! It's really cool. Thats it! Simple and Fun... Christine Johnson "1978" Best Friend in HS Kristi Shomber 1979. He lived a couple houses down from my Cousin Lori and I would spend the night there just so I could be there close just in case he drove by or something! The things we do when we are young...The teacher that inspired me most was actually 3 of my coaches in my sports interests and in PE Ms Connelly, Ms Geisking and Mrs Paskell. They were very strong supportive women that taught me to go after what I want and never quit!!! They were what made me a great athlete...without thier push and confidence they instilled in me I would have probably quit. Thanks by the way girls!! I wouldn't do any of it ever again. I had a hard time in High School and once is quite enough! My funniest time was when my best friend Kristi Shomber and I TP'd my boyfriends house and his sister Kathy came out and told me to get out of the tree or else!
