Barbara's Story
Life
Hi! It surely has been many years since I've contacted anyone from our school days. The old timers that are still living in Lillooet may already know that I'm now residing in New Zealand.
I married a Kiwi that I had first met in 1976, yes, 26 years later in 2001 I finally decided to settledown. Steven has 3 girls from his first marraige, twins 17 and an 18 year old. I was never medically able to have children, but love my stepchildren and pets. My dad Reg lives next door to our home and we see him all the time.
I'm a qualified registered Homeobotanical and Massage Therapist (remedial, therapeutic, relaxation and sports)at diploma level. Currently I'm studing Ryodoraku acupuncture meridian therapy, my goal is to be a wholistic practitioner, and be able to help people achieve wellness, health and happiness in their day-to...Expand for more
-day life. My ultimate goal is to own a retreat whereas people could come for a few days to relax and unwind with no daily pressure just peace and pampering. I currently work from home, as we have the extra space now that the girls are away working and at Uni.
I would love to hear from others.
Love and Light,
Barbara
School
Going to school in Lillooet was fantastic. From kindergarden to elementary we had so many wonderful experiences; drama, dance, music as well as academics and sport. For a small town we did well. Teachers I remember that made an inpact on me are Mrs. Phillips (grade 3) Miss Youd (grade 4) Mr Grogan (grade 5) Mr Bjordson (grade 6) Mr Koochin (social studies LSS) Mr Ritchie (science LSS).
******Can anyone remember what the Music teachers name was at Elementary school?. He was Australian.*********
