Victoria's Story
Life
I'm loving living in North Carolina after the hecticness (is that a word?)of 33 years in New York City. The pace there was so fast it made your head spin. Now, down here, after a long day at work, I can saddle up my favorite horse and go riding, or hop on a 4-wheeler and hit the trails, or just sit on the back deck and enjoy the scenery. My two kids also live on the same 38 acres as I do with their families so it really is enjoyable on the weekends. Sunday breakfast is usually crowded with my son, wife and 2 kids..and my daughter, husband and 3 kids. At least two or three of the grandkids (all but one are teenagers)have at least one friend over..add an aunt or uncle, on...Expand for more
e or two cousins, a niece or a nephew (with spouses)and we really have a crowd.
My oldest granddaughter (Jessie) graduated high school in June (2007) and is now in Randolph Community College. She also got engaged to her high school sweetheart in July.
My youngest granddaughter (Sammy) made all-county band...she plays the flute. My oldest grandson (Steven..we call him Bud)is into wrestling, Tina (my daughter's middle child)is taking drama classes and is in the ROTC.
The youngest, James (he belongs to my son) is the terror of the family and probably the worst spoiled by (you guessed it) his teenage cousins and sibling. Of course, Gram (tee-hee) would never spoil him.
