Cindy's Story

Life Hey fellow Temple Grads, Alot has happened to me since high school. I got married in May of 86 to Jim Snyder a graduate of Faith Way. We had our daughter Lauren in Dec. of 87 and our son, Eric, (named after my dad) in May of 90. When Eric was 2 months old we moved to Port Orange Florida (near Daytona Beach). My parents, Eric and Barbara Hunt, my sister Karen Heikka and her husband Bob (some of you had "Mr. Heikka" as a teacher) and my other sister, Julie all moved down with us. We now live in the same subdivision. I live in the middle and my parents live 3 doors down to the right and Karen lives 3 doors down to the left. We feel so blessed to be able to be in this situation. Dad, Karen and I have several health issues and it is wonderful to be right here with each other and spend alot of time together. ed in June of 91 to Clint and they have 2 boys. Jordan (my dad's middle name) is 7. Then there is our angel Noah. He is handicapped and has a feeding tube and is 5. He is such a blessing and Julie and Clint are wonderful parents to him. We attend First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach and love it. Our pastor Dr. Bobby Welch is the president of the Southern Baptist Convention. Mom, Dad and I are in the choir. I did work on the music staff until my health prevented it. I have the blessing of singing in a trio with my dad and another lady from our church and my mom plays the piano. Mom and Karen teach Sunday school, I am a class director and teach home bible study and Dad and Jim are deacons. All of our kids are active in the youth program. I feel very blessed to be where I am in my life right now. I do miss seeing people from Temple. I don't get back to Michigan often but have noticed many of the students have moved away also.
