I live in the Cypress Ridge Golf Course Community in Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo County, CA. I worked in the City Planning profession for 28 years, ultimately retiring as the Planning Director for the City of Solvang in September 2010. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Environmental Studies/Geography and worked for the County of Santa Barbara as a land use planner for 15 years. I am married, no children, 1 cat and 2 whippets and drive a BMW. My husband John, develops wind power projects.
