David's Story
Life
After leaving high school I started work selling cameras and then helping with audio visual equipment rentals at Strains Cameras. After a few years of that I got a job on the DEWLine working in Canada's Arctic. After an 11 month tour I went on leave from the DEWLine, applied and was accepted to study Computer Science at the University of Manitoba. ing statistics for a researcher on the Health Sciences Campus. A position became available in IST on the Fort Garry Campus and today I am a network architect designing and maintaining the University of Manitoba data network, our Internet connection and the MRnet network which provides Internet connectivity for higher education in the province.
