Randy's Story

Life Still survivin' ---hope you are too!!!! Update!! still here (haha) Working like a slave, but gettin' it" hope you are as well (always on that paper chase) find me on FB Randy Bell in San Leandro, Ca. ; or randybellsellshomes.com What's good folks..2022 update...I'm still here...still makin the bacon and hope you are too. Life is good. COVID free and wish I could say the same about that debt....I just can't shake it. hahahaha...I hope everyone is well. We've all been through a lot these last few years. Keep pushing and chasing your dreams... Peace, Love, and hair grease.... I always wanted to be a Electronics Engineer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were as unknowing as I was. I make over $100K a year and still need more. LOL. I'm so busy that when I get a chance to relax i just want to sit and watch a movie. Damn!! getting old.... If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have me, my good humor, and an open mind to be able to deal with the day-to-day crap that goes with it. My hero if I was to say I had one would be my Mom! She is a very strong woman. God Bless her soul... " She delt with my antics" LOL The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mel and Ponch, because they were my backbone.. There were other great friends, but they were special. I've lived in Spain, Japan, and various states here in the U.S. I would like to get to Italy, and Taiwan. But I can tell you there's no place like home. :) Basketball(late bloomer) Still don't watch a lot of tv, Currently enrolled in on-line college to get my Associates degree in Business. Gotta keep an open channel for an opportunity. My biggest surprise in life would be that I'm still here, and how life changes a person if you let yourself grow. I guess my kids have shown me patience and how to keep out of jail. LOL Sometimes we are reminded how we were at their age and you say to yourself "I'm being paid back for the "stuff" I used to do" LOL I had the biggest crush on my 4th grade teachers asst. while at Arlington Elementary. (Ms. Johnson) and my English teacher Ms. Young in Northwestern (I know...how lame right...hey we all have our ghost in the closet) I can not say enough about the best teacher any person could have. Mr. Dave my Electronics teacher. If you had his class or even came in contact with him you would agree that he was the kindest, most caring person. He did not judge you and always would lend a helping hand. Unfortunately, God called him early to sit with him and still today that man is in my heart. He was always there for me to lend a helping hand, a listening ear, or a s...Expand for more
houlder to lean on. Yeah, he meant a lot to me... a little ghetto kid with a dream and not much else. God Rest his Soul.. I will always be grateful for what he did for me. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to all those that care about me, then spend the rest on a new truck, a new Movato watch I've been eyeing and just relax.. To be truely happy; my mon would be well, gas wouldn't be over $1, mortgages would not be as outrages as they are ($3600/mth) car insurance companies would give rebates at the end of the year for good driving, we the people would be in control of our own govt. Trump-Pence and the rest of the elected Mob would be seen for what they really are and brought to Justice, O'bama would keep his promises, and I could eat all the chocolate cake I wanted and not have to worry about my blood sugar. Damn!! I must be dreaming. Other than that Life is good. i'm cool here where I'm at. My family is healthy, I just wish I could get over being in debt. once in life if you made anything over $50k you could live comfortable, now it's $100k and you're still wondering where did all the money go? $150k and sh%$ I need to make more!! I used to make $7.50/hr at BookNook...yeah, you know the joint and $8.50/hr with BCI construction.. I was living large...stupid, but large...I can't keep $10 in my pocket now....did I miss something along the way?! My current age is 55 When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be farting dust. LOL. I was so completely right. LOL. My career aspirations are to be a rich bum. Lay around on the beach working on my tan with a nice cold drink. Ahh...the life :) Hey It's July 2019 and I'm still trying. hahahaha My first crush, I didn't know how to handle it, didn't know what love was and became scared of getting hurt, and I became a jerk. I lost her. My best friend would tell you I'm crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as polite, and funny.. I dress close to the way I did 10-20 years ago, fashion revolves, I like jeans and tennis shoes. They are a bit pricier now. I dress in suits, slacks and dry cleaned shirts. I like my Jordans most of all. I like to be comfortable. The weirdest job I've ever had was working at BookNook on the block. It was strange, but a lot of fun. I wouldn't change those memories for anything. I miss my friend Michael Stokes. I have never had a person to cover my back like he did. I did a lot of fighting growing up and if I called him at 2 in the morning he would be there. We had tons of laughter. "How would I like old friends to remember me/", is the question: Sh_ _! if they remember me at all it's a blessing!! LOL
