Holly's Story
Life
I got married in July 2003 to Justin. We have been together since we were 16. We have a 4yr old son, Kameryn. He was born in October 2004, only 4 days after my birthday. He was 5 weeks early, but was very healthy. We were lucky. You cant even tell that he was a preemie. He has such a vivid imagination. He is full of energy and cant sit still for a minute. We have a 8month old son, Caden. He was also a preemie, born 5weeks 2days early on December 27th 2008. Almost a Christmas baby. He had complications and had to stay in the NICU for 11days. His lungs were not mature enough. It was the hardest 11days of my life. He was on CPAP, a respirator, had a feeding tube. He is my miracle baby.
2006 was a tough year. My grandma passed away in February after a battle with cancer. It was so hard because we didnt know how bad it was. She didnt tell us, didnt want us to worry about her. That was the kind of person she was, never wanted anyone to worry about her. The day she passed away I was the last one to see her. I left her room 15 minutes before she died. love die is the most painful thing a person can experience. To make things worse my dad was dieing from chronic lung disease. He was at home in hospice care for 6 months before he passed away in June. I moved back home for about a year after that to help my mom get on her feet. unfortunatly we ended up having to sell the house.
I am very active in my church. That is something that has changed since high school, I wasnt very religous then. When my dad and grandma passed away it made me realize I needed God in my life. I know I wouldnt of made it through such a hard time without the Lord. I am thankful for my church family. They have done so much for my family. I dont know what I would do without them.
Workplace
I finally got out of KFC after 5 years. I left when i had my son. I wasn't working for a while. I enjoyed staying home with my son. Now I am an Independant Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics. I really enjoy it. I get to make my own hours, and have fun teaching women how to take care of their skin. I am also the secretary at my church. It's a great job and I get to take my kids to work with me.
