Harvey's Story
Hello,
I write this as a response to a request from an old friend. After I graduated in '68, I went to the Univ of Wisconsin. I stayed for a couple of years and left after getting hurt playing football. i moved to Houston and got married to a college friend until I divorced and returned to pursue my education at U of Hartford in Hartford Ct. Ther are a lot of changes I went through....too many to list.
As a very Blessed man, I married my wife that I have been with for a total of 34 years. Shirley is my mate and has helped me to appreciate life even more fully. We have 2 daughters Erica and Syreeta, and expect a grandchild in August of 2008 from Erica.
I started as a car salesperson in 1984 and bought my 1st dealership in 1994. What a whirlwind experience...I really learned the powerfulness and detail of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ because it was against all odds. I lived in New Engl...Expand for more
and for 30 years and have moved several times...most recently to Columbia, Tennessee. I am President of Steve Williams Ford Lincoln Mercury. I am very happy and still in love with my wife. As I moved to Tennessee, I discovered my maternal great grandparents slave home nearby. My folks actually migrated from Giles County Tennesse (birthplace of the ku klux klan) The Bledsoe family moved to Texas.
As I write this short bio, you must ubderstand that you are very much a part of me being who I am. Some of you had more confidence in me than I had in myself. the great examples of love that i grew up seeing even though I did not recognize the at the time bring the warm smile I enjoy today. Thanks for being you.
I do not drink, smoke, gamble, golf, hunt, fish, shoot pool. I just live to helpy my family and make the world a better place. Pray for my continued growth....not in size or stature (smile).
