Juliet's Story

Life Hello, I am happily married and we have altogether 6 children, and now have 2 beautiful granddaughters. We are Jehovah's Witnesses and are active in helping our neighbors to find out what their Bible teaches on topics like: Will the meek ever inherit the earth?(Psalms 37:11) For how long?(Psalms 37:29), Who is Jehovah?(Psalms 83:18, Exodus 3:15), What is the difference between LORD and Lord at Psalms 110:1 ? I didn't grow up in this faith, but had questions that most people think about but never knew the Bible had the answer to. Like: Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where are we headed? I wondered why there was so much violence, crime, poverty, suffering of all sorts. (1Timothy 3:1-5) Will it ever end? What is the condition of the dead? Will we ever see our dead loved ones again, and where? (Ecclesiastes 5:9,10; John 5:28,29) Where would Adam & Eve be if they had not eaten the forbidden fruit?(Genesis 2:17) We all would like to live forever in paradise, wouldn't we? No one with a measure of health goes to the calendar and chooses the day he wants to die. We were designed to want to live forever because that was God's original purpose. Jesus' ransom sacrifice made it possible for us to have what Adam lost, a relationship with his Father and receive the free gift of everlasting life. However many say this eternal life is in heaven only. But what did Jesus say the meek would inherit?(Matthew 5:5) Now meet me at 2Peter 3:13 where will righteousness dwell? Yes, both in heaven and on earth. This is in harmony with the Lord's prayer Jesus taught his followers to pray: "Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."(Matthew 6:9,10) When will God intervene in mankind's affairs?(Daniel 2:44) Will you live to see it? Again I ask, would you like to live forever, without suffering, road rage, poverty, injustice of all kinds? How about seeing the end of death? A resurrection of our dear loved ones back to our home, earth? The Bible you have in your home holds out these promises to you. (Revelation 21:3,4; Isaiah 33:24) Every one of Jehovah's Witneses are volunteers. We visit with our neighbors out of love for our Creator(Psalms 96), for our fellowman, and a desire to obey Jesus' command at Matthew 28:19,20 "Go therefore and make disciples of people out of all the nations...teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you...". So maybe the next time one of Jehovah's ...Expand for more
Witnesses come to your door, or greet you in the parking lot, or you work with one, YOU might have a question or two for them. They'd be happy to share a scriptural answer with you. All Bible lessons(home bible studies) are free, no charge what so ever! Thank you for thinking about me! Want to get in touch? fromhouse2house at bellsouth dot net would love to hear from you! School I am so glad high school is over! I never felt that I fit in any where. Although I had a few good friends and did plenty of fun things, somehow just always felt out of place. The competition in school breeds contempt. And even though people probably had many opinions of me, I still felt inferior, insecure, and very lonely. Home life was many times even lonelier. Strange as it may sound, high school life was pretty much my life. When we graduated, I felt lost. I enjoyed the symphonic band, marching band, chorus, gymnastics team, art class, and other things. In contacting some of my old friends I found found out really how disconnected I was. There was soo much I didn't know about people I considered my friends. So I am very glad high school is over, I grew up and am able to contact with friends from the past to learn more about them. And share what I have learned not from experience only, but especially from God's Word the Bible. That sharing experience is the only kind that brings true and lasting happiness. Psalms 37:11, 29-the meek will inherit the earth, forever. Revelation 21:3,4 God will wipe all tears from their eyes and death will be no more. Psalms 83:18 God has a personal name, not LORD or GOD. College In 1979 I graduated high school and college. You see, 3 weeks out of high school I entered a vocational college in Ft.Lauderdale, to become a medical assistant. Since I lived at home , no roommates, no parties. Workplace My work experience is mainly medical. Although during rough times, waitressing was a necessity. I've worked mainly as a back office medical assistant in pulmonology, cardiology, family practice, and OB/GYN. In cardiology I worked as EKG technician II, Nuclear Stress test tech, Holter monitor tech, even at one time I owed my own holter monitor business. In several hospitals held positions of unit secretary/ monitor tech, ER tech, EKG tech.II Now my most challenging position ever is to homeschool my two youngest children. Now ages 9 and 6. This is more challenging than many people think.
