Arthur's Story
I left Granville in Oct 1961 and joined the Army Signals on 1 Nov 1961. Boot Camp was in Petawawa, ON. 6 months later I was sent to Kingston, to do my electronic technican trades training. Then I was sent to Carp,On, Halifax, Debert, Carp, Kingston, Valcartier, Qc. I met my wife there and we were married in 1969.Was there for 6 years. I went to Alert,NWT in 1971 for 6 months. ake,Alta for 4 years.Back to Debert for 6 years. Then to Kingston, Trenton, Kingston, and finally Ottawa. I retired from the Canadian Forces in 1995. They hired me back as a consultant and in August, 2009,I finally retired here to stay in Ottawa. I have been reading some of the information on people listed here. It brings back some memories.I am rebuilding a sports car and have built a web page on this.
