Life
I attended Providence starting at age 5 until graduation in 1968. My earliest recollection brings to mind Mother Pius (who was the most-feared Headmistress that ever lived) and many of my friends some whom are still near and dear to me - Diana Richardson-Mollon, Catherine Thomas-Mason, Coreen Jones-Robinson, Patricia Hislop-Gellineau; Janet Jackson, Enisha Mustapha-Baboolal to name a few. ger sister, Marva also attended Providence. I reside in the US. The foundation that I received at Providence - spiritual, social, academic and other areas - has served me very well. I owe my success in life to my early beginnings at Providence and I am truly thankful for that experience. My favorite teachers were Miss Bynoe and Miss Charles - they were my mentors - I considered them to be the most sensitive and non-judgemental human beings. They encouraged us to be "the best we can be", and pushed us for academic excellence.
