Andrew's Story
Life
Life has been very generous to me. I have the perfect job, where my main responsibility is to help people find and purchase their dream boat. Since another of my main responsibilities is to skipper the finest new boats available, I look forward to work each day. I live in a new 5000 ft lakefront home in Georgia's nicest resort. My wife and I built our home ourselves based on "dream home" plans that we created together before we were married 10 years ago. The boat business slows considerably each winter, so we have time to travel during the off season. My main sorce of enjoyment is to take my wife on our boat after all the tourists have left for the season or to take my 20 pound Jack Russell (she's not fat, she just has a small head) for a ride in our vintage Mustang Cobra convertible. We have been fortunate indeed, and I constantly thank my maker for all the undeserv...Expand for more
ed blessings that have been sent my way. Mainly, I enjoy the simple things of life, like the companionship of good friends and neighbors, being married to my best friend and having employment that fulfills me. I am most thankful for over 50 years of good health while still enjoying an ocassional rare steak, a cold refreshing beverage and sometimes a bowl of REAL homemade ice cream. I often smile when I think of my clasmates from Johnson. We had every opportunity for things to go very wrong for all of us. The 1970's were a great time of change in American History, sometimes to the detriment of society. As I look through these pages I see that while some of us are gone, most of us made it! My thanks to all of you for putting up with me and being patient with me. What few strengths that I have as a human being are directly related to the times that I shared with you. God Bless
