Life
What have I been up to? Hmmm . . . lots of stuff . . . I have a wonderful husband and two great kids . . . both adults, now. Yeah, I feel old.
Mark, my sweetie, decided to give up computer programming a few years ago and take up building . . . he has developed quite a few subdivisions out Carrollton and Villa Rica way.
Brad, my son (24), is now working for the Douglas County Sheriff's Department as a jailer . . . he is hoping to be mandated as a deputy soon; he is highly respected there and I'm so proud of him!

As for me, I went back to college after Laura started school, got a degree in English and then went to teach at Landmark Christian school. I taught 8th grade Bible and Logic the first year and then 11th grade English for the next four years. When Laura graduated, I decided I needed a sabbatical. I've been a seamstress for the last two years, making custom drapes & bedding . . . yeah, that's putting the old college degree to work, huh?! The relaxtion of using my hands instead of my head has been a blessing. I will be getting back into the groove of teaching, however. Starting in the fall, I will be teaching drama and speech. I'm pretty excited about that! Throughout it all, I've continued my calling from God to work with youth . . . . let me tell ya . . . I always thought I wanted about ten kids . . . but God has blessed me with (literally) hundreds throughout the years!
