Kristin's Story
Life
I was married about a year ago on Sept. 17th,2005 to someone I met when I was 14 and we reunited about 3 years ago. I'm glad I waited to get married or settle down and have kids because it allowed me to do what I love most, travel. I've been to England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Amsterdam, Brussels, Brugge, and Cozumel (Mexico), as well as 48 of the states (Alaska and Hawaii excluded). I go to Cozumel twice a year and my sister's and I are looking into buying a condo there. I fit in Europe in between. I'll be in Mexico in November 2006 and again in April 2007 for a sister's wedding. My next big trip will be in 2008 to Ireland, Scotland, Spain, and England for 2 weeks with my husband, sisters and their husbands. And if there is a baby that needs to tag along, then so be it! I'm teaching my future children right away how to travel. Luckily, I have a job that is extremely flexible ...Expand for more
that allows me all the time to travel.
I worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse for 9 years before I said enough with the night shifts and weekends. I am now a Nurse Manager at a specialty clinic and love it. My husband is a full-time firefighter so there are days when I don't see him. But that gives me a little me time, which I love!
I bought a house about 5 years ago before I met my husband. We'll be building when I figure out where I want to live. It will be close to Appleton since I can never see leaving that area, unless I move to Cozumel!
We hope to start having children next year after the wedding in Cozumel. I'm going to be selfish until then so I can get in my scuba diving and traveling.
I'm still an animal lover, but only have 2 cats right now. They're my babies, I've had them since I was 14 years old (yes, they're 18). I would have tons more if my husband allowed it.
