Anthony's Story

Life I’m 36 years old now and have a son Giancarlo Milan Cocco who will be 1 on September 11th, 2007. My wife Sara and I have been together for almost 11 years now and reside in Exton PA. I graduated from culinary school in Philadelphia after studying at Penn State for about 2 years. Sara and I spent a few years traveling and moved back to PA in 2000. During that time I owned and operated a fitness facility in Exton, a weight management clinic and a boutique catering business in West Chester Pa. I’m still involved in sports and weight training. I play a horrible game of golf and enjoy martial arts. I have taken a few titles including Mr. Pennsylvania 2004 in the light heavy weight division and best of show (in the National Physique Committee). Currently I manage and own 2 online businesses, with a partner and friend of several years. I love working out of my home, epically when the weather is nice . I have 2 dogs, a Maltese female named Bunny (yes my wife named the dogs) and a male Bishon named Günter. I love spending time in my yard gardening, landscaping and BBQ-ing every opportunity I can. Our house is always full of guests, coming and going, to which we enjoy. I am hosting a co-ed naked twister competition for people over 90 this fall…just kidding. That’s all for now. Anthony Cocco School High School, The Bad – Stan Leathers: The only teacher in the world that would accuse a 145 pound boy of using steroids. We all can understand though. After all, I put on a whole 5 pounds or so during my senior year. Stan thought it odd for a boy, going through puberty to put on 5 in a year. PSSST! Stan!!! Boys and girls grow throughout puberty. They get little curly hairs in private areas and girls get boobies too! Not the brightest light bul...Expand for more
b now is he…but he did like the boys. The Bad – Coach Krug: I’m not sure how to spell his name nor do I care. Here’s another winner. After practicing with varsity soccer playoffs my freshman year, starting varsity my sophomore and junior year, I was cut my senior year. Yes, you read that right. His reason: he wanted some of the younger guys to move up. Soon his seniors would be gone and he needed to replace us with some less experienced younger players. “For the sake of the future team”, he said. It would have made sense, but the guys that were benched for the last 3 years still made the team. My travel league coach got a good laugh and so did the parents…at least I continued to play and start with the SCCSA travel league, my real love, with my team…for those of you who did not know, the whole Unionville Soccer Team and the SCCSA travel team were composed of almost the same identical players. Our skills were taught by Geoffery Meadows, a world class coach from England. Krug just ran us through some kid drills he plucked from a text book. PS. Here was another adult that liked to start fights with kids. He smiled, looked at me and said, “You can manage the team if you’d like.” If you’ve played sports before, you would know how big of an insult that was. Yeah, another looser. Good – Had so many wonderful teachers I do not know where to start. (Excuse the spelling) Mr. Lipowitz, Mr. DAntionio, Mrs. Conti, Mr. Siegerman, Mr. Treadmill, Mr. White, Mr. Derickson, Mr. McNamara, Mr. Zamites… Good – the maintenance staff that cleaned up after the slobs in our class and the cafeteria for putting up with our antics. High School Hook Ups – thanks! Parties in the middle of nowhere. The drive in. Growing up…survived, would I go back, nah!!! LOL! Well for a few things…
