Kathryn's Story
Hi fellow Red Raiders! I've had a tough year. My husband John died last summer after heart surgery. So I'm really in a place that I never expected to be. Its been difficult, but I'm beginning to come out of the fog.
I've worked for the federal Off. of Surface Mining for 31 years and planned to retire this summer, but now I'v decided to work for a couple more y...Expand for more
ears. My step daughter, Krystle, is 27 and owns a tanning salon and is doing well. Step son David is a chef in Columbus, Ohio. He's also does ice carving and is a talented artist.
Anywho, that's where I am now, sorta starting all over. What will be, will be.
I've gone by Kate for the last 15 years (Kate Smith) but family still calls me Kathy.
