Patty's Story

Life Hi class of 68! After graduating from ISU in special education, I started moving. I had stayed at home during college, so I wanted to spread my wings. I spent my first summer in Ft. Lauderdale, then taught in MD, VA, CO, IN and now in MI. I taught students with learning disabilities and emotional problems and now teach 6th grade. In June I am going to retire! Yea!!!! r PhD in counseling at UT. (Knoxville) I met my present husband, Dennie, on a blind date set up by Kathie (Payne)Drake. We were married in 1984. Dennie was living in MI, so I moved north. Dennie travels a lot with his job, so I get to join him at times. Of course when I retire I can go more. We like to travel, visit with friends, golf and now we have been getting in to building furniture. I have numerous projects to keep me busy and plan to expand on my hobbies. Got to go for now!
