James's Story
Joined the military after Heights and spent 30 years in uniform retiring in Jan 2005 following a very rewarding career wearing both an USAF (4 years) and an Army uniform (26 years). Following the 4 years in the USAF, I went to Eastern Illinois Univ graduating in Dec 1978. In the mid-80s I attended Boston University graduating with a MSBA. Divorced (felt good) after 27 years Jun 07; I am now spitting time between Aberdeen, WA, and Gilbert, AZ. I enjoy the desert (and golf) Oct-May as well as the cool summers along the Pacific coastline and in the Olympic mountains. er' aspect quite well with my new wife, Barb. She happens to be a former classmate from my USAF Russian language school experience at Monterey, CA where we first met in 1973. I have two great sons now married to great ladies. Grandson James Randal Clegg (the 9th 'James' in a row) was born to son Jimmy & Shawna on Sep 25, 2013. 1LT Jack Clegg (US Army) and his wife, Madison, are expecting mid-Dec 2015 where he is stationed at Fort Carson, CO. I am quite proud of both boys and honored by their service in OEF and OIF, respectively. Finally, Barb has 4 kids, and we are blessed with all of them being good friends as well. At the end of the day, life is truly extraordinary!
