Carole's Story
Life
Well I got married the first time in 1984.Nice big fancy wedding,but it was only a good marriage for a while.We had moved from Jericho,NY.to Deerfield,Fla.in 1985.I worked as a floral designer which I loved!!. We bought a house in Tamarac,Fla.in 1987.Then all started to go downhill.No children from this union(thank goodness).I had gotten divorced in 1993.Believe me I tried to work it out for many years,but life is to short to be miserable all the time!.I moved out into my own place and was again happy and free!!.I started to travel again.I would go to europe every summer.To Holland as a matter of fact.Ah Amsterdam is a fabulous place!!.I am now married (after I swore never again!)and have 3 children.Two boys and a daughter.My husband and I have been together for almost 11 years.We got married in December of...Expand for more
2000.My husband is a Project Manager for a construction company and I have been retired since 1999.Our oldest son is 7,daughter is 6 and youngest son is 4.So I am now the not so soccer mom,but having just as much fun.I hope that the class of 1980 does have a reunion in the future.It would be fun to see classmates again. Workplace
well,i worked as a floral designer for almost 20 years.I retired in 1999 when our first child was born.I loved my job so much!.I became a workaholic!!. At holiday time i worked more than 100 hours per week!Now when everyone else is watching their kids off to college mine have just about completed first grade and kindergarten!.Next year our third child will go to pre-k.Who knows? I may get the itch to open another floral shop soon!!--carole
