Jackie Kittrell:  

Life Last name used at RHS: Kittrell Spouse/Significant Other: Cliff Honicker, married for 26 years, since July 4, 1981. Children: three sons, Myles, age 25, Nick, age 21, and Conrad, age 16. Life for the last 35 years: Jackie’s father was in the Navy and they lived in Newport twice: she attended Sheffield School in the 3rd grade, and Cranston-Calvert Elementary in the 4th grade, then moved away until 1970, when she attended RHS in the 11th and 12th grades. After graduation, she attended college in RI and Toronto, Ontario, before moving back to Tennessee where her parents had retired to Carthage. She volunteered to work on home-town boy, Al Gore, Jr.’s first run for Congress. (She worked on all his campaigns except for his final one.) She also worked in Nashville as a graphic artist and, among other things, designed Waylon Jennings’ stationary! (A leathered tooled guitar figured prominently.) She went to law school in 1979 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She got married to Cliff between her second and third years, and was pregnant with her first son, Myles, during her third year. Her second son, Nick, was born in 1985 and when he was 2, she returned to finish up her course work and took the bar in 1989.
