Audie's Story
I met & married Nancy Brooks, HCHS class of 1980. As of Sept. 22nd. 2019, my wife & I I have been married for 35 yrs.. We've been together since June 8th, 1982. Hard to believe someone would put up with me for so long. I'm very lucky & grateful to have her as my wife. nto the staking Dept. were I worked until retirement. I didn't enjoy retirement as much as I thought I would so I went back to work for the City in the Public Works Dept. were I still work today. I've spent my entire life in Henderson, I never felt a yearning leave. As John Mellencamp sang " I was born in small town, gonna die in this small town,and that's probably where they'll bury me"
