Rebecca Alston:  

Life Hello my name is Rebecca C. Alston, some of you may know me as Becky. I grew up in Memphis,TN in Glenview on Foster Ave. I went to Rozell, Hamilton, and Peabody Elem. I went to Hamilton Jr. High and Wooddale High School. I started Lane College in fall 1981. All through school I was in the choir. I didn't finish Lane until 1992, because I dropped out in 1985 my sr. yr. I was blessed to go back and try again,and so I finished with a B.A. in Communication. I am a pre-school teacher at the Kiwains Child Developmental Center in Jackson, and I am also an ordained Minister in my Church. December 7,2005 is a day I will never forget, I had back surgey. I have since then gone back to work and I am taking it one day at a time. Sometimes I still hurt, but that is why God made pain pills. Let's go back to some of the early days of college.
