Teresa's Story
Life
Okay, I got married in the Marine Corps while in Okinawa Japan. I got out in 1981, got pregnant the next month, had my first son, John, in January 1982. I lived in Amherst, NY for 7 years during which time I had my daughter, Patty (July 1984) and my son Michael (November 1986). In 1989, we moved to Catonsville, MD following a job transfer John Sr. took. We lived in Catonsville together until 1998 when I moved out with my 2 younger kids to an apartment. I divorced in 1999 and remarried in 2000. Yeah, I know, should have waited but what can I say?
I moved back to Minnesota in 2002, following my daughters high school grad and 25 years after I left, just in time for my 25 y...Expand for more
ear reunion. From the time I left Mankato, Minnesota, I wanted to come back and it took me 25 years.
I am now in the process of a divorce from Phil, my second husband. My daughter Patty lives in Mankato, my son John lives in Lothian, MD and is in the Air Force at Andrews AFB, my youngest son, Michael, is at present on ship (in the Marine Corps) heading back to the US from Iraq and Bangladesh and is to arrive in February.
Life has taken so many twists and turns, I can't even tell you about all of them. I could write a book I'm quite sure. Anyway, I am healthy, happy and employed (which is always good) and living in Good Thunder, MN.
