Bruce's Story
Life
After High School I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps. Came back to Wisconsin & worked in the Defense Industry for a couple years managing Tech Ops for an Airforce Top Gun facility. I got into Cellular Communications With Vangaurd and was the Engineer for Pensacola & Ft Walton Beach markets for a few years. My wife and I moved back up north to MN where we had our only daughter - Sabrina. I have been involved with different aspects of Engineering from RF to IT for several years now and I am currently working in the DC area for Ericsson International on a Sprint\Nextel network management contract.
past Workplaces
Military, it seems I went everywhere and did everything in a little over 6 years. Looking back that must be why all my joints ache so much now....

Vanguard was a great Engineering team. I loved every minute of it. good timing when I left because they sold the place a few months later.
Midwest Wireless, was a nice building full of the worst examples of management I have ever seen. Truley the worst career experience I have ever had with bad management but I had several good friends & co workers there.
Nextel, exemplary management in the IT group. Wonderful RF Engineering group. Great work experience.
Sprint, First they switched the cofee to some sort of hokey puck, then they moved the bonus around every year to the point where last years bonus is paid out in the spring of the following year.... need I say more.
Ericsson, is busy and beating a path to more work. in this economy that is a good thing.
